SalarySheridan Maine, in partnership with our esteemed global client, is currently seeking a skilled Project Finance Analyst for a 6-month fixed term contract. This unique opportunity involves working on a critical project following a recent acquisition.
This position requires a candidate who can effectively engage with C-suite level individuals, leveraging their experience to work collaboratively with the business in identifying costs and constructively challenging spending decisions.
Key duties of the Project Finance Analyst include:
- Maintenance of undisclosed project budget.
- Ownership of reporting actual comparisons and monthly movements through change log.
- Ownership of month end process.
- Identify stranded and dual-running costs and develop detailed budget and forecast.
- Own the process of validating monthly TSA invoicing.
- Liaise with Treasury team in maintaining project cash flow and ensure cash items are recorded accordingly.
- Deal with ad-hoc requests centred around the project.
To be considered for the role of Project Finance Analyst, your skills must include:
- Studying towards or qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with strong financial accounting experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to challenge and provide constructive feedback on financial matters.
- Ability to assess risk and develop mitigation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
