I have a fantastic opportunity available to any PMO Leads/Managers who are based in the North East and are looking for a new challenge. With the organisation going through an exciting transformation journey, you will be responsible for leading the Group's PMO (Project Management Office) providing support, oversight and governance of the Group's end to end Project Management cycle to ensure on time successful delivery, escalation of risk and adherence to project and activity stage gates.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of people management for the Project Manager team, including regular one-to-ones and development activities.
- Delivery of a small portfolio of projects (as needed) using the appropriate methodology including efficient project mobilisation in line with the Group’s Project Management framework and ongoing Project Management.
- Understands and deploys change management techniques such as change impact assessment, stakeholder management and communications planning.
- Provides advice, guidance and feedback in relation to project activity and support to key stakeholders as needed.
- Remains current in relation to project and change management best practice and evolves the Groups approach, tools and techniques based on this and organisation maturity.
- Provides training and coaching as needed in relation the Group’s project and change management approach and tools.
Person Specification:
With a number of project happening with the business, including Workday & Salesforce implementation, it is important that you have a technical background within PMO.
