An exciting Project Manager opportunity has come up with one of our UK Government agency clients. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and delivering projects within the agency, ensuring they align with strategic goals, are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive successful project outcomes.
CONTRACT DETAILS:
- Job Title: Project Manager
- Day Rate: £450 - £550 per day
- Location: Hybrid (flexible)
- Duration: 6 months+
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Benefits Realisation
- Stakeholder Management
- Risks and Issues:
Identify and monitor project risks and issues. Develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate. Identify and work with related projects to manage interdependencies.
- Governance:
Support effective governance and decision making. Provide reporting and engage in mechanisms that hold you, as Project Manager, to account for delivery.
- Assurance:
Engage with assurance reviews and support action on recommendations. Organise assurance processes such as gateway reviews, as required.
- Change Management:
Ensure effective Change Management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholders
WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong PM experience
- Strong experience delivering policy projects/programmes
- Experience of working with a diverse group of external stakeholders, and of managing the expectations of external stakeholders
- Experience of operability assessments, and of ensuring guidance to external stakeholders allowing them to take the necessary steps to ensure project outcomes are delivered.
