The Company
Our client has been awarded a 10-year contract for the maintenance and improvement of the Defence Built Estate in the South East and have supported the defence sector for over 70 years in delivering maintenance and repair, project management, and refurbishment services to both operational and support facilities.
From large scale re-developments, through to minor refurbishments, their expert teams collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline designs and value engineer project briefs.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager as part of a new Defence contract in High Wycombe.
The role
As a DV cleared Project Manager, you'll will work on a wide range of new projects within the construction sector. You will be working on several projects at any one time dependent upon the scale and complexity of the project.
In this highly varied and interesting role you take the lead of projects such as new roof replacement on a building, building refurbishment of staff accommodation and Maintenance Facilities to full New Building construction and listed Building Works.
Reporting into a Senior Project Manager, you'll will be responsible for the planning, management, coordination, and financial control of projects, ensuring the appropriate governance is applied. You will be supported by both Commercial and Project PMO.
You'll ensure the project lifecycle is maintained at all stages and completed on time, within budget and that agreed objectives & KPI's are achieved.

Background in one of the following disciplines:
Civil
Mechanical
Electrical
Construction Design Management knowledge
Building Regulations knowledge
