One of our valued customer is looking for an IRT experienced Project Manager to join the team.
This is a 6 month contract role which has the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Role Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for developing, in conjunction with the Technical Operations Manager, a definition of each project. The Project Manager then ensures that the project is delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications). The Project Manager ensures the project is properly resourced and manages relationships with a wide range of groups. The Project Manager is also responsible for managing the work of consultants, allocating and utilising resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the project team.
- Manage coordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work. * Develop and maintain a detailed project plan for specific (defined) projects.
- Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan.
- Record and manage project issues and escalate where necessary.
- Resolve cross-functional issues at the project level.
- Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues where necessary.
- Monitor project progress and performance of individuals or partners participating on the project team.
- Provide status reports to the Project Sponsor.
- Update progress to senior management on a routine basis.
- Manage project activities and resources within the defined budget. Review and evaluate technical recommendations to ensure projects meet business requirements and fit within the scope of the defined budget.
- Provide final approval of the design specification.
- Work closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs.
- Define and manage the User Acceptance Testing programs.
- Identify user training needs and devise and manage user training programs
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in Clinical Trials, with specific expertise in IRT (Interactive Response Technology) implementation.
- Strong knowledge of IRT systems and clinical trial protocols.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
