Project Manager – Linking Levisham
Helmsley, North Yorkshire (fixed term contract to 31 March 2026 with potential for extension)

The North York Moors National Park Authority looks after and promotes one of the most phenomenal parts of the British Isles. Filled with breath-taking scenery, magnificent wildlife, picture book villages and a dramatic coastline, the North York Moors boasts some of the most diverse landscapes in the UK.
Linking Levisham is an ambitious, multi-partner Landscape Recovery Project at the heart of the North York Moors National Park. It will showcase landscape recovery in the spectacular, working North York Moors landscape, balancing nature recovery, farming and archaeological and geological interests for diverse audiences to experience.
We are now seeking a Project Manager to join our team on a full-time, working 37 hours per week.

The Role
As a Project Manager, you will lead the work of our Linking Levisham project.
Ensuring the project delivery strategy is translated into appropriate work briefs, you will manage the procurement process and delivery of each work package.
You will co-ordinate the preparation of briefs and the procurement of specialist consultancy work and other external contractors.
Additionally, you will:
- Co-ordinate and integrate resources to ensure the effective delivery of work streams
- Provide detailed information and records to support quarterly reporting
- Work with communications colleagues to generate publicity for the project
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the project’s success
About You
To be considered as a Project Manager, you will need:
- Project management experience
- Experience working with landowners and managers to deliver projects
- Experience managing consultants and/or contractors
- Experience working with communities, ideally on a project development basis with volunteers
- A full, valid driving licence
