Our Project Management team provides delivery focused leadership across the Yunex Traffic business. The team is responsible for the tendering and delivery of exciting customer projects of varying sizes and complexity with typical value of £100k to £10m.

Our market leading products and services touch many aspects of everyday mobility including city wide traffic network management systems, low emission zones, and electric vehicle charging.  If you drove or took public transport today, you almost certainly interacted with what we do everyday to keep our roads safe and running freely.
Reporting to the Head of Project Delivery you will deliver customer facing projects to agreed time, cost, and quality goals ensuring outcomes are achieved. Yunex will invest in your Project Management career and professional accreditation via the APM aligned PM@Yunex.  Experience in the delivery of commercial and technical projects will be an advantage.

• You hold a degree or equivalent, ideally in a STEM subject. It’s desirable that a candidate has an existing Project Management accreditation eg Prince2 or APM.
  In your role, here’s what you’ll be doing:

• The safety of our employees always comes first and we work hard to deliver a zero harm workplace. As project Managers we ensure the working safety of our delivery teams and comply with appropriate regulations. Yunex will provide training in any areas needed to do this effectively.
• Our Project Managers typically deliver a number (1-5) projects depending on size and complexity that may require management of large teams.
• We work in an environment that encourages challenge to the status quo. You and your project team will be expected to shape our processes to improve how we deliver projects, delivering better value to our customers.
• A Yunex Project Manager structures their projects in such a way that core functions can be managed, progressed tracked, and functions held accountable for progress against plan.  This is achieved via planning tools, collaboration, and regular review.
• Track performance to budget and schedule holding regular progress reviews with project teams and external suppliers. Track and optimise progress information on all assigned projects to demonstrate alignment to target.
• Work with your customers to achieve satisfactory sign-off and closure of projects.
