Role Summary
This project is funded by the Government's Species Survival Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm's-Length Bodies. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England and the Environment Agency. It supports the creation and restoration of wildlife-rich habitats throughout the Medlock Valley in Manchester, Oldham and Tameside. The project is a significant milestone in Groundwork’s ambition to deliver large scale nature recovery projects, supporting Greater Manchester’s Local Nature Recovery Strategy.
