Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm (office based with site visits)
Full Time: 40 hours per week
Salary Range: £38,500.00 - £45,000.00 DOE plus company car allowance
To be part of and to support the engineering team in the planning and day to day delivery of new installations and larger projects. The role is predominantly office based but will require site visits to meet with customers and main contractors and to check on progress of the installations with the installation engineers and subcontractors. Full ownership of the role would need to be taken including correctly keeping and entering data on our internal systems to provide full audit traceability of all actions.

Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge of Security Systems
- Electrical/mechanical installation experience
Role Accountabilities:
- Project responsibility at site for implementation of larger security/fire alarm systems as required
- Delivery of system within set budget and timescale
- Attend prestart meetings where needed to determine timescales and any limitations
- Site meetings with client and engineers throughout installation
- Marking out of sites where required (Solar Projects)
- Liaise with planning team to ensure schedules are being achieved
- Liaise with planning team to ensure products/stock, pre builds and programming are available when needed on site
- Liaise daily with engineers and subcontractors relating to installations on site to meet limitations of job / quoted price
- Regular update reports to the planning manager and sales / design team regarding progress and any issues where needed
- Work directly with MD on projects and key customers
- Support the procurement of larger projects working with key suppliers to obtain best pricing and support.
- Plan training and commissioning visits for new installations to allow full and complete handover
- Observe all safety rules and procedures, ensuring that the work area, equipment and materials are left in a safe state; and that reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of all fellow employees and any other persons within the work area
- Work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc
- Carry out and comply with all company policies, procedures and instructions and any other reasonable duties deemed necessary by the company
