Role Title: Project Manager (Part time - 6 month contract)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Project Manager on a 6 month fixed-term contract to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of internal projects, from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
- Stakeholder Management: Work across functions and allocated resources to ensure timely completion of project milestones. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and marketing, to optimise project workflow and productivity.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise project disruptions. Proactively address issues and challenges to maintain project momentum and meet deadlines.
- Internal Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Board of Directors (BoD) and internal team throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates on project progress, address internal inquiries and concerns, and manage expectations to ensure successful project delivery.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and status reports. Generate comprehensive project reports to track progress, identify key metrics, and evaluate project success.
An ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field preferred.
- Hold at least one relevant and up to date project management qualification/certification e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, CSSBB, CPM, CSM and CSPO
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the technology or digital signage industry.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, with ability to manage through simple spreadsheet tools.
- Knowledge of digital signage technology and industry trends is a plus.
- Inquisitive and driven individual who enjoys developing relationships, and delivering projects.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly diverse, and cross functional team.
- Ability to work independently according to set priorities; delivering results quickly and unaided.
- A passion for technology.
Project Management
£36 - £42k per annum, therefore total expected pay over 6 monthspart time is £9k - £11k part-time (to be prorated to contract length)
6 month fixed-term contract
Part-time: 8:00 to 16:30 Monday and Friday, with an option of an 8:00 to 12:30 or 12:00 to 4:30 shift on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Total hours per week of 19.5 hrs.
2 month probationary period
This is a “work from home” position and candidates would be expected to have a reasonable provision for working at home. There will be a requirement to travel for company events or infrequent meetings as needed by the business. A workstation/laptop and phone will be provided as appropriate.
