Salary: Grade 10, £42,402 - £46,464 per annum.
37 hours per week

Your role:
You will lead on the project management of a variety of schemes within the Major Projects portfolio, including walking and cycling infrastructure projects, public realm, town centre regeneration and major road improvement schemes.
You will lead and support the successful delivery of projects within a set timeframe, managing external funding, reporting and associated deadlines. You will be responsible for working with stakeholders and partners, leading on project meetings, managing consultations and regular reporting to senior managers and funders.
You will play an integral part in our ambition to transform the way we deliver infrastructure, connectivity, and regeneration projects.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will need to evidence effective and timely project management skills with the ability to deliver key projects and programmes.
You must have experience of working in partnership with multiple complex organisations and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work constructively with politicians, senior managers and other directorates, partners, authorities, and external organisations.
You will have excellent decision-making skills, the confidence to make active and visible leadership decisions pertaining to project delivery and have the ability to resolve problems. You must be able to show initiative and have a good level of ICT skills.
