Project Officer – Planned Maintenance

£36,500 per annum including car allowance

We are currently looking for a Project Officer to assist with the delivery of capital and cyclical Planned Maintenance works. You will be responsible for small scale project delivery, including works necessitated under insurance and health and safety legislation, and for providing assistance and support to the Project Managers and Senior Project Manager.
What you will be doing:
Working as part of the Asset Investment – Planned Team to assist with delivering efficient programmes of Planned Maintenance work.
Ensuring that good contract management is provided as per bpha’s requirements.
Delivering a service which operates within a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness that can be evidenced and stands up to scrutiny and audit.
Providing assistance to the Project Managers and Senior Project Manager to ensure seamless service delivery is maintained.
Ensuring you and your team’s adherence and compliance to bpha standing orders, financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
Contributing to delivery of a customer centric service.
We’d love to meet someone with:
ONC/BTEC level qualification in construction.
Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues affecting residential properties.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation (including CDM 2015) is essential.
The ability to affectively achieve value for money through accurate tendering of works and appointment of relevant contractors.
Experience of reviewing specifications and implementing change to works streams where service is failing.
Working knowledge of MS office and an aptitude for other specialist software packages is essential.
