The Opportunity


Salary:
£30,296 to £33,024 per annum

Contract Type: Fixed term or Secondment until 31 March 2025

Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week

Location: County Hall, Chichester and hybrid working from home

Interview date: w/c 22nd April 2024

The substance misuse housing support service is a pilot project funded through a fixed term grant issued by the Office for Health Inequalities. The pilot will test the efficacy of a targeted support to adults who are drug or alcohol dependant who are homeless (including those in temporary accommodation) and those who are at risk of losing their tenancy.

As the Project Support Officer, you will support the housing support team and the program manager. The role includes direct involvement in an interesting and diverse work plan. In addition to supporting the team through triaging and responding to referrals, producing performance reports, including end user quality audits, and monitoring the use of a personalised budget.

You will also support the design and roll out of a training program for housing staff and support the program manager in preparing reports and coordinating the projects governance group.

What are we looking for?

  • You will need to be able to work quickly, accurately, and proactively to deliver high quality project management support to the Consultants in Public Health and managers across a variety of topics.
  • You will also be required to analyse varied and complex information / statistics, so focus and attention to detail are requisite.
  • You will be expected to use your initiative to make informed decisions when unanticipated problems are presented, for example producing recommendations which may be amended by a senior manager.
  • You will need to ensure that matters are dealt with efficiently and appropriately, prioritising your workload in order to respond.
  • At times, you may be dealing with highly sensitive matters and confidentiality will be essential.
