Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Administration Manager to join our Property team based in our Swindon head office. We can offer hybrid working with 4 days in the office Monday till Thursday and Friday working from home.
In this role you’ll be supporting the Property function in effectively managing our UK property estates across the UK. This includes our retail stores, depots and our head office distribution centre.
Key Responsibilities:

Building strong relationship with landlords and managing agents.
Dealing with day to day general estate management issues from landlords and managing agents
Responsible for arranging accurate payment of all property costs, including rent rates, service charge payments, property insurance and payments for consultants and suppliers.
Working with the property team and our key suppliers to ensure that property records and compliance registers are accurate and effectively maintained on an ongoing basis.
Having the main responsibility for effective diary management of key property events working with our legal and property colleagues/suppliers
Providing regular and accurate property information reporting for the function and the business  
Supporting with the compilation of appraisals for potential new properties, presentations on property matters and effectively communicating with colleagues and external parties to ensure data is effectively collected from a variety of sources.
Supporting the property team with meeting organisation, travel arrangements and arranging any access requirements for external advisers, landlords and managing agents
Liaising and effectively communicating with all parties involved in property issues from major landlords through to property contractors

 Skills and experience:

Relevant experience within retail, business property or construction industries
Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment
A high level of organisational skills and the ability to deal and work with others as part of an extended and multi-disciplined team.
Proactive and uses initiative to provide innovative solutions.
Able to effectively communicate with internal colleagues and external professional parties at all levels
Computer literate in all aspects of MS Office and with an aptitude for using computer-based systems and techniques.
Analytical and accurate with an attention to detail.
Clear and effective reporting and presentation skills
Able to effectively multi-task and prioritise differing workloads independently and as part of a team.

Desirable skills:

Knowledge of Landlord and Tenant law and other relevant property-related legislation desirable but not essential as training will be provided
Experience of managing property databases
Degree in Estate Management
