Property Manager

We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our Estates team in this newly created role. Your Duties You will be responsible for providing an effective property management service for the college and the day to day management of all properties and usable space across the estate, including cleaning services and utilities. Duties will include; Ensure all usable space and buildings are used correctly across the Estate. Ensure all property regulatory requirements are followed and gaps reported. Manage all room / building moves and any changes of use and environment. Manage all utilities. Take a leading role on the CAFM and HelpDesk systems. Manage cleaning services contract. Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure condition of properties and buildings are to standard. Inspect properties, including grounds and communal areas for damage and maintenance requirements and reporting findings. Liaise with outsourced property professionals and manage contracts with providers ensuring value for money. Communicating with tenants, stakeholders and users about concerns and helping to resolve any issues, such as maintenance needs. Notifying external tenants of rent increases, upcoming inspections, and maintenance work. Maintaining property records, including signed leases, official complaints and log of income and expenses. Managing tenancy renewal and end of tenancy processes. Act within the authorities set out by management and Moulton College working procedures. Person Specification The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role and of using a dedicated IT platform to property inventory. You will hold or be willing to work towards a Level 3 Managing Property qualification. You will be organised with effective communication skills coupled with a proven ability to manage multiple projects on budget simultaneously.
