Property Paralegal, Training Contract.

Spencer Lockwood Solicitors are a property law firm based in E1 and specialise in conveyancing.
The role begins with a 2 month internship. During this internship you will receive training on the main areas of admin in property law and have some intitial responsibiities assigned to you by fellow colleagues. For the initial 2 months internship we cover reasonable travel expenses but the paid position as a Paralegal and employee begins after succesful completion of the internship.
This then has a probation period of 6 months in which after you will begin to learn skills as a fee earner and a potential salary review would take place. Once the 6 months probation is completed we will look to progress you to a trainee solicitor and begin your training contract should you wish.

Duties will initially include:

• Organising and filing incoming post
• Answering phones and updating clients or third parties
• Assisting with the basics on conveyancing transactions
• Following and assisting on Post Completion matters
• Other general office admin duties

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience in an office admin role
• Experience in using Microsoft Office
• Great communication skills, written and spoken
• Problem soliving
• Experience in customer service roles

Desired Education:

• University degree or equivalent in Law
• LPC a bonus
• Current or future SQE studies accepted
