About United Response
We are a charity committed to making life better for young people and adults with learning difficulties, autism and mental health needs.
We have recently turned 50 years old as an organisation having been focused predominantly on support of residents throughout this time.
The work we do and the impact we have on the residents we support is positively powerful when we get it right, and it is that feeling of pride in the jobs we perform, which encourages us to do more.
It is only in recent years that UR has recognised the importance of its Housing Offer and the importance of managing its assets to a decent standard, fit for purpose and most importantly, compliantly. In effect, we remain at the initial stages of a journey establishing an effective Housing Department with Property & Asset services.
The Property and Assets functions are in a period of rapid growth and about to include commercial asset management in addition to our existing housing portfolio.
We own, manage and lease approximately 200 assets of varying architypes, spread throughout England with clusters of assets located to the South and North of England, and strong growth plans for the Midlands areas.
Our Team works closely with each another and with our support staff, local authorities, NHS, private landlords, registered housing providers and a suite of approved contractors and suppliers to deliver our Property and Assets services to the organisation.
