Proposals Lead

Global E&C are looking for a Proposals Lead to join the team on a permanent basis.

Based out of our Aberdeen HQ, The Proposals Lead will be jointly responsible for all tendering and proposals activities across all Global E&C's EPC portfolio services. As the Proposal Lead, you will manage and design business proposals including the creation, storage, and finalising of completed tenders/proposal documents, ensuring a fully complete and compliant submission is delivered. You will report directly to the Head of Strategy and Business Development Services (SBD) and will play a critical role in developing business from lead stage, managing the proposal process throughout.

Your regular duties will include:

• Acting as custodian of proposals process across Global E&C’s integrated EPC portfolio.
• Managing all tenders from receipt to delivery, working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to develop and manage tender and execution strategies throughout the proposal lifecycle.
• Identifying critical paths of a tender timeline, including planning, and determining response, resource, and budget requirements, managing all associated reviews and critical milestones, including process updates where necessary through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working alongside SBD team to develop tender storyboard and key win themes.
• Working with all departments of the business to develop and own suitable tender content, templates, and presentations in line with company brand and messaging, ensuring all are kept up to date and available when required.
• Management and maintenance of the SBD SharePoint and Teams channels.
• Management of proposals within CRM.
• Maintaining upcoming tender plan and schedule, providing regular written and verbal updates as required.
• Ownership and maintenance of company registrations (FPAL, SEQual and others as required).
• Providing support and act as a focal point as required during company audits (FPAL, SEQual, DNV etc.)
• Using experience within tenders and proposals to support the development of the SBD team.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in a similar role, with an upstream (ideally brownfield) background.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Packages and solid knowledge of SharePoint.
• Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
