A leading advisory business are looking to strengthen their market proposition through the hiring of an experienced pensions / retirement specialist.
Working within a small team you will hold responsibility for the businesses ongoing post-retirement proposition which forms part of their broader advice offering from our client.
You will hold strong technical knowledge across all areas of Financial Planning whilst holding a deeper understanding of the range of advice offered to clients both pre and post-retirement.
You will hold a detailed understanding of the retirement market, the changes within it and can identify both improvements and new areas in which the business can stay ahead of their competitors. You may also be able to identify new processes and technologies to improve our client’s proposition.
An excellent understanding of both DB/DC pensions is required as well as knowledge across the range of advice required after retirement, areas such as LTC, IHT Planning and protection planning.
You will work closely with the heads of advice, marketing, communications and IT teams to then help promote the proposition both internally and externally. Working with numerous internal stakeholders will require excellent relationship and communication skills.

The role offers home working flexibility with the expectancy to travel to a regional office one to four times per month, this will be dependnet on your home location and level of experience.
