WHAT TO EXPECT
As we develop more complex multi machine powertrains, wheel torque distribution plays a central role in delivering world class capability in motion control.
We are looking for System Design Subject Matter Expert to play a key role in developing the System Design and controls strategies required to deliver this capability. Working in collaboration with the Technical Specialist and squad, you will provide technical input to the development of our off-cycle technical roadmap and guidance on our on-cycle delivery within an agile development framework.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Support technical road map / strategy for wheel torque distribution control.
- Become a custodian of the body of knowledge created for wheel torque distribution control.
- Concept torque distribution feature / function development and testing.
- Support integration of torque distribution control into the wider propulsion and motion control system architecture.
- Automotive and x-Industry benchmarking of product and relevant processes / tools.
- Upskilling of wider torque control chapter in torque distribution control.
- Support testing of distributed traction system in the XiL virtual environment, including SiL, PiL and DiL for both on-cycle and off-cycle projects.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Strong experience in wheel torque distribution control.
- Strong experience of complex control system and software delivery
- Demonstrated ability to deliver new capabilities and technology
- Experienced in systems engineering methodologies
