We have several Teaching Assistant roles available within a fantastic specialist school in Halifax.
We have a variety of roles available, ranging from working with students aged 2 – 18. These roles include working closely with children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) and social-emotional mental health needs (SEMH), as well as disabilities.
These roles will give you invaluable long-term classroom experience and will give you the opportunity to develop your skills so you can thrive.
Opportunities:
- Full-time: 35-hour working week (Monday – Friday)
- 3 roles available ranging from £445 - £475 per week (term time only)
- Working within a supportive school with engaging colleagues
- Gaining training and guidance from experienced members of staff
- Choose from working with primary school-aged students up to post-16 age group!
- Gain invaluable experience working with children to support you in exploring a career within education.
What We Are Looking For:
- Hold a completed bachelor's degree (minimum 2:2)
- A friendly, positive personality who's able to build strong relationships with others
- Adaptable and able to work well in a team
- Empathetic, caring individual
- Resilient individual who's able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience/knowledge surrounding SEN SEMH (beneficial but not essential)
- If you want to put your toe into the water to check how hot it is before taking a swim, then a Pre Teacher-Trainer Programme is what you are looking for.
