Are you a passionate and experienced Public Relations & Community Lead, looking for a role where your work can steer huge change to the business you are a part of?

This brand new role has come about due to massive growth and investment into our marketing department. We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join our team as the Public Relations and Community Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our PR initiatives, developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies enhancing our brand visibility, reputation and thought leadership in the industry. As a department we are able to shape and empower ClearCourse and its brands to succeed, and if this excites you then this is the role for you!

Required skills and experience: 

• Proven experience (5-8 years) in a PR leadership role, preferably within the technology
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies that drive brand awareness, media coverage
• Comfortable dealing with senior leaders of the business and formulating a way of making their ideas achievable
• Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to generate innovative PR campaigns and initiatives
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

You will be responsible for:

• Develop and execute the strategic PR strategy and plans to elevate ClearCourse's brand awareness and reputation in the market, including both proactive and reactive PR
• Build relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, influencers, and industry experts to secure positive press coverage and thought leadership opportunities
• Create compelling press releases, media pitches, and story angles to generate media interest and coverage
• Proactively identify and capitalize on newsjacking opportunities, industry trends, and timely events to enhance ClearCourse's media presence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to align PR
• Media reporting to provide insights and senior stakeholder updates
• Prepare executives and spokespeople for media interviews, speaking engagements, and public appearances, providing media training and coaching as needed
• Manage crisis communication and reputation management strategies
• Oversee PR agency relationships and external partners
• Manage an internal communications manager.
