Description

The Purchase Ledger Assistant will be responsible for:

• Matching, batching, and coding purchase invoices
• Processing credit notes
• Following up with any missing invoices
• Statement reconciliations
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with suppliers
• GRNI Analysis
• Query resolution
• Financial administration

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

• A proven track record within a busy accounts payable department
• AAT L2 or above (desirable)
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel and accounting software.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work to deadlines.
• Relevant qualifications in Accounting & Finance.
