I am currently partnered with a rapidly expanding and vibrant organisation based in Manchester City Centre, who are looking to recruit a dynamic Accounts Payable Assistant to join their growing Finance function on a permanent basis
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for the end to end process of the Accounts Payable function as well as providing support to the wider finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Matching POs to stock invoices and dealing with any discrepancies
- Creating new vendor accounts in the system
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Query resolution with suppliers
- Processing and approving purchase invoices
- Monthly review of supplier statement reconciliations
- employee expenses
- Monthly credit card reconciliations
Skills/Experience required:
- 12 months experience in an Accounts Payable position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant systems experience
- Strong organisation skill
- Excellent customer service skill
- Manufacturing experience desirable not essential
