Ford & Stanley Recruitment - The Rail Recruitment Experts are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join one of our rail clients in Stockport on an Immediate Start. This will be an initial 4-week contract with potential for extension.
The Opportunity:
This is a great opportunity to work with a world class leader in the international market for the design, manufacture, maintenance and supply of equipment and components for railway systems.
Location: Stockport, Manchester
Working hours:
Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:00
Key Role and Responsibilities
- Logging, maintaining and posting invoices
- Raising sales invoices
- Matching purchase orders against invoices (both integrated and non integrated P.Os)
- Setting up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details
- Accurately maintaining vendor details
- Liaising with suppliers
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be motivated, focused individual who has previously worked in a Purchase Ledger capacity.
Essentials:
- Previously experience within a Purchase Ledger function in a business
- Experience working on accounting software systems such as SAP or similar ERPs
- Ability to work with tight deadlines
Desirable:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment .
- Experience dealing with Integrated invoices
