Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in Purchase Ledger/ accounts administration, or maybe you have completed or are in the later stages of your AAT qualification (not essential). The role is based in Bugbrooke West Northampton, Warner Recruitment are very excited to be representing this role and watching the team grow.
You will be working in a finance team of 5 and reporting into a Qualified Financial Controller who we know well here at Warner Recruitment; and who is a brilliant manager, someone who really cares about her team, great at developing people (if that’s what you want) and takes pride in accuracy and process improvements.

Accounts Administrator - Purchase Ledger - Northampton - Permanent
Duties Include:
- Processing of Purchase Ledger invoices and credit notes
- Setting up and validating suppliers
- Matching invoices to GRN
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Reconciling Supplier Statements
- Maintaining the Accounts Payable mailbox
- Ensuring invoices are approved by budget holders
- Liaising with key suppliers
- Raising payment runs for approval
- Setting up Fixed Asset records and associated depreciation
- Assist with processing of stock related invoices and associated freight charges
- Processing Prepayments
- Monthly reconciliations
- Contact suppliers to request missing invoices
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Support expense claims and credit cards
- Assisting with year end audit as required
