We are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger to join a small friendly team in Oldham with a job for life ethos!
Although this will be a predominantly Purchase Ledger based role there may be times when ad hoc reports/duties are required to assist with the accounts team and HR team.
Location: Oldham
Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours
Salary: £25,000 to £29,000 PA Dept on exprience
Duties
- Process and record purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Reconcile supplier statements and address payment queries.
- Prepare payment runs and maintain payment schedules.
- Assist with month-end procedures and audit support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Purchase Ledger
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
