Job Title: Purchasing Administrator
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Location: Hertford
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
COMPANY
An exciting opportunity to work for a growing and successful SME as a Purchasing Administrator. The successful candidate will have proven experience within purchasing, be self motivated and organised.
This role with offer opportunity for progression and to potentially develop into a Buyer within the business.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Proven experience within a similar role.
Excellent communication skills
Experience in purchasing.
Competent with MS Packages.
Driving licence and car required due to a remote office location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Purchasing materials and supplies.
Updating the supplier list and building relationships with suppliers.
Assisting managers with gaining best purchasing terms and prices.
Checking deliveries & signing off delivery notes.
Ensure all orders are complete and logged accurately.
Raising purchase orders and liaising with the accounts team.
Assisting with other administrative duties on a ad hoc basis.
