Our client are a leader in their field and are seeking a proactive Purchasing Assistant to support the purchasing team. Ideally you will have an interest in all things purchasing and procurement and be an excellent communicator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Purchasing team, sourcing materials, hardware, and other components as required.
- Liaise with suppliers on price, availability, and delivery.
- Assist with inventory levels and ensure materials are ordered on time.
- Create purchase orders.
- Assist with the contract negotiations.
- Working closely with production & Project Managers.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
- Understanding of supply chain and inventory control
- Excellent organisational skills
- Microsoft Office - Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
