Purchasing Assistant

Our client are a leader in their field and are seeking a proactive Purchasing Assistant to support the purchasing team. Ideally you will have an interest in all things purchasing and procurement and be an excellent communicator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Purchasing team, sourcing materials, hardware, and other components as required.
• Liaise with suppliers on price, availability, and delivery.
• Assist with inventory levels and ensure materials are ordered on time.
• Create purchase orders.
• Assist with the contract negotiations.
• Working closely with production & Project Managers.

Qualifications:

• Ideally, proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
• Understanding of supply chain and inventory control
• Excellent organisational skills
• Microsoft Office - Excel
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
