Main Purpose of Job:
Working with the Purchasing Manager in the purchase process, tracking metrics to reduce expenses,
negotiating deals, and managing suppliers. The role primarily will be data administration, raising
orders and liaising with suppliers, collaborate with relevant managers and directors.
Salary: 12/hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 07 45 and Friday, 06 00, 40 hours / week
Key Responsibilities:
Assists manager with Demand and shortfall planning, and communications.
Systems maintenance and reporting.
Process purchase orders for suppliers (suppliers & sub-contractors).
Builds and maintains relationships with suppliers. Securing good procurement deals.
Assists with OTDIF (on time delivery in full).
Coordinates with manager to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.
Ensuring stock accuracy on ERP, involvement in stock cycle counts.
Help prepare weekly / monthly statistics and reporting.
Work in accordance with the quality system and processes of the company.
Coordinates with fellow team members, managers, and directors.
Departmental and individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Goals and Objectives (G&O)
driven.
Reviews, creates and or adjust section process and or procedures.
Adhere to the company's health and safety requirements and complete training as required.
Assist in other duties as requested.
Skills and Qualifications/experience:
ERP and Microsoft experience.
Relevant experience gained in a similar industry and role.
Be organised and able to gather information from key sources to assist with problem solving.
Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work.
Be able to work effectively and efficiently to meet target deadlines.
Good verbal and written communication skills, good Maths and English skills.
Great customer service skills.
