Purchasing Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for a Purchasing Manager to join our client, a leading manufacturer based in Witney.
You will manage the purchasing requirements, help with planning for continued company expansion, produce weekly purchasing reports and develop department/process improvements whilst maintaining staff retention and working with staff to improve performance.
The role of Purchasing Manager is instrumental to the continued commercial success of the company, and you will focus on strategies to improve Production and Purchasing efficiency and identify and help implement improvements.
You will have excellent people skills to enable you to effectively manage and mentor a team of four and recruit when necessary.

We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with prior manufacturing experience and an understanding of AS9100. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience in Purchasing and Procurement.
