Our client is an established and fast growing manufacturing business who are looking to appoint into a newly created role of QA Technician to to support the Quality Manager in day-to-day tasks within the Quality department.
The Opportunity:
- Supporting various functions such as Customer Service in terms of technical questions around product, conducting testing as requested, completing supplier compliance and product conformance documentation
- Housekeeping of technical files and documentation including MSDS sheets
- Collating and filing various reports from around the business such as audits, certificates, cap reports etc.
- Co-ordinate test lab submissions and subsequent progress through to establishment of corrective actions
- Conduct on-site product testing using various types of tools and equipment
- Working very closely with multiple internal departments to support their needs, as well as other
About you:
- A background in inspecting and testing using various equipment such as callipers, micrometers, graduated cylinders, etc.
- Knowledge around product quality standards
- Excellent attention to detail, with good administration and organisational abilities
- Problem solving approach, ability to work on own initiative as well as with others
- Good writing and numerical skills
- Strong communication skills, across multiple teams/levels
- Must have experience working within a quality role, preferably within manufacturing
