Job Title: Qualified Accountant for a Prestigious Private Client Department

About the Role: An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Accountant to join the trust and tax section of a highly reputable Private Client department in Central London. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role, working closely with managers, partners, and other key stakeholders, providing top-tier services to a distinguished client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the compliance and administration of trusts, including accounts and tax returns.
- Handle inheritance tax returns for trusts and preparation of accounts for charitable organisations.
- Manage individual tax affairs, including the preparation of tax returns.
- Produce meeting papers and attend client meetings.
- Assist with complex cases and ad hoc assignments.
- Contribute to the training of junior team members.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proactive and reactive in addressing client needs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Meet time and billing targets.
- Stay updated with legislative changes and market developments.
- Proficient IT skills, preferably with knowledge of CCH Trust Accounts and CCH Personal Tax.
- In-depth knowledge of trust accounting and taxation.
- Understanding of estate, personal, offshore, and indirect taxation matters.
- ACA qualified (newly qualified to five years post-qualification).
