Berry recruitment are currently looking for a Qualified Accountant to work for a accountancy firm based in Golders Green. The role is office based Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm.
The suitable candidate must have the following skills:
- a minimum of 2 year's experience and have
- the ability to manage a heavy work load
- Level 4 AAT qualified or qualified ACA or ACCA
- Previous accountancy practice experience essential
- Experience in Xero cloud accounting technology essential
- Experience in Sage Accounts Production Advance & CCH essential
Your day to day duties will include:
- Accessing financial records of the clients
- Preparing, reconciling and filing VAT and Sales returns
- Preparing year end and statutory accounts
- Reviewing bookkeeping and Xero records, dealing with journals, and preparing management accounts
- Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
- Assisting with bookkeeping, accounting, VAT and payroll work as needed
- Business tax knowledge preferable but full support given
- Supporting clients with running their businesses and improving their record keeping
- Look for opportunities to improve internal processes and technology
This is a temp to perm position after 12 weeks, with an hourly rate of £20.60 and a minimum negotiable basic of £35,000 when taken on permanently. if this role is of any interest please apply now or contact Kira Holmes in the Hendon branch.
