Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Trafford Council's Central Neighbourhood Team. This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of between £30 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake strength based assessments and deliver appropriate person centred support and outcomes for adults with care and support needs.
• Must be able to work in ways that promote independence, recognise the potential for change and through excellent practice enable people to maximise their strengths.
• Must possess good communication skills and be able to work proactively with a range of adults applying a clear understanding of the legislative framework for Adult Social Care.
• Required to provide an effective response to safeguarding enquiries in line with both the Care Act 2014 and local policy and procedures.
• Work as part of a team and autonomously and will be familiar working within a Multi-Disciplinary environment.
• Have knowledge of working within the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and will be able to effectively and professionally challenge to ensure best outcomes for our residents.
• Work with adults with various care and support needs.
• Engage in social care assessments and interventions utilising a strength based and person centred approach.
• Possess an in depth knowledge and understanding of the Care Act 2014 and other key pieces of legislation.

Requirements:

• Social Work Degree
• Social Work England registered
• Enhanced DBS
