SalaryQA Test Lead - £50,000 - £60,000 - Cardiff (hybrid 1 or 2 days in office)
I'm hiring on behalf of a rapidly growing investment management firm looking to add to its Digital Solutions team where you'll play a crucial role in designing, delivering, and maintaining technology solutions.
This is what you'll be doing:
As the QA Test Automation Lead within the Digital Solutions department, you will drive the enhancement of bespoke financial solutions and Microsoft Dynamics-powered digital platforms. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day testing, test case development, and automation testing, alongside ownership of the Software Testing Life Cycle. Additionally, you'll lead process improvement initiatives, line manage QA roles, and collaborate closely with technical leads.
Day to day:
- Develop processes and frameworks to enhance software Quality Assurance.
- Lead and mentor QA team members to maximize their potential.
- Collaborate with technical leads and department heads to drive efficiency and value.
- Implement and enforce test strategy to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Foster team interaction and contribute to office culture.
The experience you'll bring to the team:
- Proficiency in BDD, TDD, C#, SQL, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Specflow and Selenium for Test Automation.
- Strong communication skills across all business levels.
- Ability to identify opportunities for system future-proofing and extension.
- Leadership/management background
Desirable Experience:
- CI/CD, Playwright or other JS framework experience.
- Familiarity with front-end test frameworks and Azure DevOps.
