Our client is a leading design and manufacturer of process filtration equipment for the oil, gas, petrochemical, water, and nuclear industries supplying onshore and offshore.
In the first instance you will be involved in the heart of the business based on the factory floor supporting the QHSE Manager with relevant daily activities as a Quality Inspector.
The ideal candidate will need to have trained eye for detail and be committed to maintaining the quality requirements throughout the business with the goal is to ensure that all products leave the site correct to drawing and customer requirements including documentation, maintaining a good relationship with customers and products are produced in a right first-time environment.
The Quality Inspector role will eventually expand through internal and external training (when required) to include aspects of Health and Safety onsite.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proven experience in a Quality Inspection/Engineer role.
- A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach.
- A can-do attitude and the want to be part of a team ethic.
- Responsible and trustworthy.
- Familiar with Quality systems and the need for products to be correct.
- Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 would be an advantage.
- Maintain a high level of visibility throughout the day.
- Help QHSE Manager implement productivity and continuous improvement activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Previous quality role in manufacturing.
- Any previous training in Quality, Health & Safety or Environmental would be an advantage.
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, & outlook.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

- Previous experience within the oil & gas industry would be advantageous but not essential.
Hours of work: 07:00 - 15:00 Monday to Friday
Salary: 26k - 32k p/a
