Responsibilities within your new role
The primary duties of the QMS Advisor entail ensuring the smooth operation of the team's administrative tasks through fostering strong professional relationships within the team. This involves implementing ISO and internal Management Systems effectively, overseeing the SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) team administration, managing non-conformance and corrective actions, and developing comprehensive training materials.
Additionally, responsibilities include participating in Quality Management improvement initiatives across all team functions. Documenting and controlling data for SHE groups, supporting corporate and external audits, administering ISO standards planning, and collaborating on industry award submissions are also integral aspects of the role. Lastly, compiling internal statistics, generating process reports, and providing risk reports to the line manager as needed are essential tasks to maintain organisational efficiency and compliance.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
Preferred qualifications for this role include familiarity with quality methodologies like ISO 9001:2015, prior experience in auditing Quality Management Systems, and proven team management capabilities. The ideal candidate should exhibit self-reliance, effective communication, and attentive listening skills, alongside proficiency in MS Office Suite and Quality Management System (QMS) tools. Demonstrating consistent decisiveness, sound judgment, adept conflict resolution, and influencing skills is crucial. Additionally, the candidate must be results-driven with a keen emphasis on achieving objectives.
