Our client, who is a well-recognised family business, is looking to recruit a Quality Manager to work at their busy site in Bury St. Edmunds.
This role is pivotal to the success of the company, you will be self-motivated and flexible, you'll enjoy the variety of no two days being the same.
Your key responsibilities as Quality Manager will be:
- To manage and further develop the Quality Management Systems, Processes and Document Control to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
- To liaise with customers with regards to quality standards and any issues ensuring satisfactory resolution in a timely fashion.
- To liaise and collaborate with external auditing bodies.
- To proactively communicate information relating to technical performance to the business and the rest of the management team.
- To identify training opportunities with regards to technical requirements.
- To create corrective and preventative plans relating to changes in legislation, system or process updates and product alterations.
About you:
- You’ll be working in a supervisory / managerial role within the FMCG Food sector.
- You’ll have a strong working knowledge and practical experience of the current SALSA standards.
- Food safety level 3 / 4.
- HACCP level 3 / 4
- Demonstrable experience of managing people either directly or indirectly.
