Responsibilities
• Line management responsibility for the Quality team• Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement• Comply with ISO quality and related accreditation requirements• Drive the NCR process for root cause analysis• Satisfy customer expectations regarding product quality• Ensure sufficient Quality Control checks are in place• Audit materials provided by suppliers• Audit suppliers and ensure they meet company expectations• Assess product quality through testing• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy• Generate regular reports on quality metrics• Work closely with procurement team to establish and maintain quality standards• Investigate root cause of quality problems• Work with New Product Introduction teams to ensure quality checks• Implement improvements to production processes• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues• Act as a liaison between quality engineering and other departments• Oversee root cause analysis and guide corrective and preventive actions• Ensure comprehensive and effective CAPA processes• Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards• Role model a continuous improvement culture
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field• Extensive experience in quality engineering• Strong understanding of quality management systems• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
