Position: Quality Manager
Location: Worcestershire
Job Type: Permanent
Working for a company who are renowned for providing high quality and innovative engineering products within the mining, construction, recycling, and agricultural machinery industries.
Role and Responsibilities –
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring all quality aspects of the business. You will lead a teams of quality engineers and quality technicians to deliver the highest standard of quality for the business.
Other responsibilities include:
Represent the company in regard to quality from a customer facing perspective, including customer visits to ensure their expectations are accurately understood.
Develop the company’s global QMS across the business with the appropriate standard of working practices and implementation of company quality standards. Training team members where needed.
Adherence to recognised ISO standards (14001&9001) ensuring companywide compliance to UK, legal and customer specifications and standards.
Work with top level management to determine and implement long term quality assurance strategies that focus on reducing quality associated risks to the business and its customers.
Experience or Qualifications –
Understanding and experience of operating Quality Management Systems to ISO9001:2015 & 14001 standards
Experience in a mechanical manufacturing environment (ideally within castings, fabrications and welding)
Lead Auditor experience
Ability to identify, implement and manage new and existing quality tools appropriate to the business and its suppliers. (DMIAC, FAIR’s, ISR’s, PPAP, 8D 5S).
Candidates who currently are a Quality Manager, Head of Quality, or QMS Manager would be suitable for this position.
