Overview of the role:
I have partnered with a leading metal company who are the UK s largest importer and distributor of non-ferrous metals.
They are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to establish and grow their aerospace business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrading their current ISO9001: 2015 quality system to incorporate and be fully compliant with AS9120 Rev B and AS9100 Rev D.
- Instigate audit and approval by relevant third party within agreed time frames.
- Day to day approval maintenance, implementation and internal audits as well as being the 1st line support for customer audit, query, investigation and inspection of all supply chain issues, internal errors and regulatory compliance to meet the quality standards.
- Liaise with Group General Manager , Group QM and HS Manager on quality issues and all related compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years AS9120/AS9100 experience
- GCSE pass or equivalent in Maths and English.
- FAIR/8-D/FEMA skills ideally
- Experience of dealing with end users and suppliers.
