Quality Improvement & Operations Manager- £40,000 - £46,000 per annum (Salaries vary depending on experiences)
Hours – 37 hours per week, hybrid working.
Location – AG Palmer House, Littlemore, Oxford
What You’ll Be Doing:
Response are recruiting a Quality Improvement and Operations Manager within their Children, Young Person and Family Services (CYP&F). This exciting role will have a portfolio of strategic and operational areas of responsibility, and you will be heavily involved in driving forward service growth and Quality Improvement to shape and strengthen services within CYP&F.
We are looking for candidates with significant experience of operational and case management, contract management as well as extensive experience of stakeholder management and strategic working.
Key strategic responsibilities include participation and engagement, service improvement, equity, diversity and inclusion, training and development, impact measurement, tendering and service mobilisation, fundraising, marketing and stakeholder communication.

- Provide open, positive, and inspiring leadership and high-quality day to day operational management to support, guide, train and develop staff (and Volunteers where applicable), through personal development plans, objectives and supervision to ensure that effective, safe and high-quality services are delivered by Response and partner organisations.
- Lead on the development and delivery and leadership of the services with CYP&F in accordance with national and local guidance and the contracting framework.
- Support the strategic relationships with schools, partners, and commissioners to ensure effective delivery of Response’s CYF&F services to build and maintain confidence in Response as a trusted partner.
- Monitor and manage contracts, ensuring targets are being met and steps to achieve performance improvement are introduced.
- Ensure that all Response’s CYP&F services protects children and young people from abuse or risk of abuse in accordance with local safeguarding policies. Identify and mitigate against any risks to children, young people, or staff, ensuring that appropriate risk assessments are in place and updated regularly.
- Ensure robust management information and KPI reporting arrangements are in place and conducted accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support the Director of Business Development and CYP&F in developing new business, fundraising opportunities, and new service delivery models.
- Be a passionate advocate and change-agent for participation and involvement of individuals being supported through our services.
The Successful Applicant:

- A level or qualified by experience. Proven track record of extensive experience in delivering similar services to children, young people and families.
- Detailed understanding of mental health, wellbeing and equity, diversity and inclusion issues impacting young people.
- Knowledge of CYP Safeguarding procedures
- Substantial experience of leading and managing teams
- Experience of change management, contract management, managing projects, case supervision, planning and organisational skills
- Improving service performance through KPIs and Objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills to analyse complex data and make informed decisions.
- Able to identify areas that require Improvement and strengthening and steps towards achieving this.
- A full clean driving license with access to own vehicle.
