A Quality Manager is required for an electronics manufacturer in Aviation and Aerospace. The position is site-based and offers a salary of up to £65,000, with standard hours of 8am to 5pm.
**Requirements:**
- Experience in quality and continuous improvement within the Aviation and Aerospace industries.
- Previous work in manufacturing assembly.
- Solid knowledge of Quality and/or Aerospace Standards like ISO 9000 and EN9100.
- Demonstrated experience in auditing procedures within manufacturing settings; EN9100 training preferred.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, particularly in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
- Ability to read engineering drawings and comprehend technical specifications.
- Familiarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
- Experience in preparing FAIR/LAIR Reports according to AS9102 standards.
- Competence in Lean techniques.
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods.
- Prior experience as a management representative for EN9100 preferred.
- Travel to the USA and Europe a few times a year.
