Quality Manager

Working for an innovative and sustainable manufacturing company based in Ashford, they are market leaders in their industry through design and continuous improvement.

We are seeking a Quality Manager, to be the go-to person for all things related to Quality Processes.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with site management teams to ensure ongoing compliance with agreed and legal standards.
• Undertake QC reports, Quality Audits, Non-conformances and the ISO 9001 standard.
• Ensuring the quality of the products purchased, produced, fabricated, assembled, and installed, meet the company expectations and British standards.
• Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards, controls and specifications.
• Working with the project departments to establish quality requirements from the supply chain.
• Assessing customer requirements and defining customer service standards, for quality purposes.
• Liaise with other key staff members and provide feedback, training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.
• Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing and warehousing environment (within construction)
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Experience in the management of change and continual improvement program
• Understanding of the relevant ISO and BS EN-1090 standards
• Proven leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
