We are seeking a Quality Manager, to be the go-to person for all things related to Quality Processes.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with site management teams to ensure ongoing compliance with agreed and legal standards.
- Undertake QC reports, Quality Audits, Non-conformances and the ISO 9001 standard.
- Ensuring the quality of the products purchased, produced, fabricated, assembled, and installed, meet the company expectations and British standards.
- Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards, controls and specifications.
- Working with the project departments to establish quality requirements from the supply chain.
- Assessing customer requirements and defining customer service standards, for quality purposes.
- Liaise with other key staff members and provide feedback, training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.
- Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing and warehousing environment (within construction)
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience in the management of change and continual improvement program
- Understanding of the relevant ISO and BS EN-1090 standards
- Proven leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
