Quality Manager

We have a requirement for a Quality Manager for our manufacturing client in Newry area.

Your new role
The purpose of this role is to Lead the Quality and Production team to ensure and deliver products that are manufactured to the relevant international standard(s), and meet or exceed customer expectations.
The role requires a working knowledge of the Quality Management System processes - EN 9100: 2018 and ISO 9001: 2015 and Part 21g Production Organisation Approval which are maintained throughout the company. The role holder will lead and implement the Quality strategy identifying improvement opportunities and striving for zero defects in consultation with the wider team. The role holder will have an active role in the internal and external audit process, ensuring any non-conformances are resolved within the agreed timescales. The role requires highly effective relationship management to ensure that all customers and all other relevant external bodies are confident and satisfied with the Quality Management System and any related requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally we would like to see candidates with a relevant degree as well as 5 years experience in quality engineering. You will also have experience carrying out audits and be certified preferably. Candidates who have experience in AS9100 or ISO9001 standards will be considered.
