To support the Food Safety and Quality systems across company sites
Duties and Responsibilities
- To ensure the HACCP/Quality Systems are correctly implemented, monitored, and controlled
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, managing external agencies and ensuring product safety and security
- Ensuring all audits are carried out to the required standard e.g.,Group Supplier Audit or accreditation standard and audit preparation
- Generating and issuing required reports
- Day to day management of the quality management system
- To ensure compliance to relevant legislation, GMP and hygiene standards
- To ensure internal and external audits are carried out in a timely manner
- Ensure raw material, process control and finished product specifications are up to date in conjunction with the group quality team
The Candidate:
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety and food hygiene
- Previous experience with a quality environment and running both internal and external audits
- Previous experience in a production environment
- Experience of dealing with suppliers and customers, generating, agreeing, and implementing specifications
- Experience managing a team
