The company is a significant player in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry, boasting a robust team of dedicated professionals. With a substantial workforce, the company operates out of its primary location in Staffordshire, focusing on Engineering & Manufacturing.
Description
- Hands on quality control activities including checking components, products and processes.
- Collaborate with the Quality Team to identify and address product defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Learn and implement quality control procedures to maintain and improve product quality.
- To support the Quality Assurance Team in identifying quality concerns and escalating them to a successful resolution.
- Involved in ongoing product audits on a regular basis to maintain and improve standards throughout.
- To ultimately play an active role in the training of operators in the effective implementation of methods and procedures.
- To liaise closely with other members of the Quality and Engineering Team.
- Carry out inspection activity as and when required in line with demands of the business.
Profile
- Background within an electro / mechanical environment highly desirable.
- Minimum of 1 years experience in Quality Control or inspection/manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and SIO14001:2015 an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of modern quality tools and techniques an advantage.
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers and suppliers.
- Read and interpret standards and drawings.
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, communication and time management skills.
- Able to work on own initiative as well as working within a team.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications an advantage but not essential.
