Job Description
Construo is looking for a meticulous and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing costs, ensuring value for money, and providing expert advice on construction economics throughout our projects.
Responsibilities
Manage project costs from inception to completion, including cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control.
Prepare and analyze tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for construction projects.
Monitor and report on project finances, providing accurate cost forecasts and cost tracking.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to optimize costs without compromising quality.
Evaluate variations and claims, providing recommendations and resolutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
