Curzon Street is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented senior level Quantity
Surveyor to manage cost estimation, procurement, and contractual matters related to
construction projects for the family office's properties and developments. The ideal
candidate will possess strong expertise in quantity surveying within the UK luxury real
estate market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including
materials, labour, and other relevant expenses.
- Assist in developing and monitoring project budgets, ensuring cost control
and adherence to financial objectives.
2. Procurement and Contract Management:
- Manage procurement processes, tendering, and selection of contractors
and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements to secure favourable deals
while ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
3. Project Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain meticulous records of project costs, contracts, change orders,
and other documentation.
- Provide regular reports and updates on project expenditure, variances, and
financial performance.
4. Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks related to cost, contracts, and procurement;
develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Monitor and address any variations or discrepancies in project costs or
specifications.
5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to
align project goals and requirements.
- Communicate effectively with the family office and external partners
regarding project progress and financial aspects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related
field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, preferably 10 plus years of
experience.
- Thorough understanding of construction costs, contracts, and procurement
processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software/tools for quantity surveying and cost estimation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: £50,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
